"I love that this is so easy to use. I can sit in my living room, watch tv and scan all my pictures all at the same time!! Great way to go digital and so easy to use. Because I have so many boxes of pictures to scan, I use direct power to this little workhorse!! For small jobs batteries are fine. I have already scanned over 1000 pictures and much more to go. I do recommend every couple hundred scans to use spray air can to clean out any dust the scanner accumulates during use. If you start to get "lines" in your pictures, just spray the machine with air and your good to go!"
